The Annapurna International School of Film and Media is India’s first private, non-profit and completely student-focused media school.
AISFM’s goal is to be one of the finest film-institutes in India, and one of the finest in the world. To achieve this, the generous Akkineni family (the school’s primary backers) and management have built the school on the grounds of a major film studio in the heart of Hyderabad, set-up a film fund to produce commercial films using the school’s own students and faculty as cast and crew and drawn some of the biggest names in cinema as teachers and academic advisors.
AISFM is the largest and best equipped film school in Asia. We offer students a 22 acre campus, filled with ten shooting floors, permanent sets, classrooms, cutting-edge post production and DI facilities and our stunning preview theatre.
We offer a wide range of academic programs in media. Our degree and masters courses, ranging from 2-4 years duration, offer the ultimate in-depth study experience for any film school or acting institute student.
Our vocational programs - courses of two to eight month's duration - focus on technical training in film direction, acting, editing and cinematography, allowing students to quickly learn the skills they require to jump into the industry.
